Tom Balf of Nexus Environmental Partners on Green Campuses

In this special audio presentation, previously streamed live from the floor of SustainCommWorld Boston, Tom Balf of Nexus Environmental Partners, talks with On Paper’s David Crew about the recent movement among higher education institutions to “Green the Campus” and how universities across the country are beginning to adopt more sustainable practices.

Thomas Balf has nearly twenty-five years of diverse experience in the environmental, health and safety and sustainability fields. He has served as the Director of the Campus Consortium for Environmental Excellence (C2E2) for over ten years, and now advises NACUBO as the Project Director of the EPA funded Campus Environmental Resources Center, the premier higher education web-based environmental resource library.

Tom has a B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Tufts University and a M.S. in Freshwater Biology from University of New Hampshire.
